Random Ubuntu Installer Crash

I have been trying to install Ubuntu (x64) on my laptop but it has been, well, annoying. It will walk me through it but about when I get to the enter user info page it says that the installer crashed and makes me do it all over again. Any sugestions?

Hmmm that's weird... did you get the installer by burning a .iso file on a CD / USB ?

Maybe you're just having some hardware that isn't very well supported by GNU/Linux yet, you should maybe try with Linux Mint or a different Ubuntu distro
