my opinion to vessel:

pro:

-1 year free <-- awesome

-i think its better for you linus

-cleaner and overall prettier website design

-no automatic video quality nonsense an overall pretty stable player

-10 sec back button is awesome like on netflix

-if you have a multimonitor setup the player is a little more user friendly

-comment system is good and community better

 

con: (i expect many of this things will be fixed, they just exist because its a very young platform)

-no android app yet

-no chromecast support yet

-the website runs really really bad on low end devices (windows tablet with intel cpu 2gb ram)

-no profile pictures or profiles at all

-no sub box

-no viewlists or something like this

-no clickable links not even in the video description

-i didnt fount a system that alerts you when somebody responses to your comment

 

overall im interested in how its going to develop and if it goes in the right direction im definitely willing to pay the 3$
