Comptia A+

So I am thinking about taking the Comptia A+ exam. I have bought a study book off of amazon. I was wondering if any of you guys have taken it or know people who had. Any tips and advice, is it has difficult and is it necessary to have as they make it out to be ?

I did the exam through Cisco. I'ts pretty damn easy. A lot of the stuff is things that most people who are interesting in computers already know. 

 

You might want to read up a bit on types of printers and networking. I think that having the book would probably help but it's not absolutely necessary.

I have gone through CCNA level 1 and 2, IT essentials with Cisco's Netacad. Our teacher said it covers a lot more then the courses that our class took. When did you get A+?

At the end of last year. I think I only read through ITE.

If the test is as easy as ITE then it cannot be that difficult.
