Greetings!

I would like to know.. weather I can run two similar Gpu (gtx780s) in sli configuration and at the same time have a cheaper or older Gpu like a 580 dedicated just for physx?

Will this configuration be compatible and will it give a good performance boost?

Cheers!

Yes you can run that configuration but to be honest dedicated physx cards are not worth running. Your 780 can more than easily run physx and running older generation cards as dedicated physx can actually lower your performance.

This is how Linus explains it.

It will work but it's not worth it having a dedicated phys x card. A 780 sli should have no problem with phys x.
