Gateway APU Problem

Hello,

 

I have been having an issue with My Gateway NV55S laptop where at some points if the laptop gets hot, the computer will freeze up and do this...

I have asked other technicians what the cause of the problem could potentially be and some say it could be the APU.

 

I could really use some help, especially since this is my only laptop ?I have and can not afford another laptop at this time.

 

Also when the computer does this, it will emit a buzzing sound from the last point of which the audio was being picked up from.

disable Flash Hardware acceleration

 

it is a known issue with AMD drivers and Flash player

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Another problem I am having too with the laptop is at random times the laptop will automatically restart (also probably due to my laptop running hot, also due to the processor) and when it is restarting, it can not find the HDD. In order for the laptop to recognize it, I have to manually shut it off by holding down the power button and then turning it back on. Only then will it recognize the HDD and boot into windows.

Get a cooling pad for it.
