Nvidia Pascal in 2016 :(

So at GTC 2015 Nvidia said that Pascal (new upcoming GPU series) will come in 2016

I was hoping for the end of 2015 (I want to upgrade) same as 900 series. 

Anybody else little sad that we have to wait roughly a year ?

Yea iam waiting to build my new rig based on Skylake and the new Pascal 1000 Series cards, hopefully with some kind of Adaptive Sync 4K monitor.

I got a new computer recently SLI 970's and i'm hopping it last until the series after pascal gets released. Although Pascal will be awesome

Their roadmap said 2016.

Pascal was added between Maxwell and Volta. Volta used to have the big features of Pascal.

Skylake was supposed to be awesome, but the recent news in instructions support indicate that it won't be much better than Haswell.

 

The Titan X was supposed to be a huge card for GGPU, but it turns out it's Floating Point performance is lackluster, so....

 

A few years ago, we were expecting 4k 60fps to be common today. That quite didn't happen....

 

 

If my guess is right, Pascal won't be awesome. At least for gaming. That's just my prediction.

Titan already does 4k @ 60fps so Pascal are going to be True 4K gpus
