Hey, I am wondering if a Core i5 3350P CPU would work with

A: A EVGA GTX 960 SSC and

B: A Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 MOB.

I believe the CPU is LGA 1155 so it won't be compatible with the motherboard (which is LGA 1150).

This is correct. The cpu is lga 1155. You will need to get a z77 board which may be hard to find.

Yup, that would be perfect. I would recommemd either that or if you want to stay with an i5 get a 4690k.
