Need help choosing a Graphics card

I need a graphics card that can run somthing like BF4, H1Z1 and CSGO in 1080p. Im from England and my max budget for the graphics card is about £180 i was looking at an r9 280x but im really not sure im pretty new to pc gaming so i dont know whats best for my money any tips are appreciated

Yea the 280x is a great card just how big is you're PSU plz don't make the same mistake as me i got the 280x and just had a 400 W PSU now i have to wait for a 600W

for those games after some benchmarks i saw the 960 performs a bit better

I would be going for the R9 280x in your situation. The prices of 4gb GTX 960 cards are all above your budget. You could still purchase a 2gb card, but this decision may hamper you in the near future. The 280x will have 3gb of memory which would be beneficial.

 

If you can find a 4gb GTX 960 then get that without delay.

then ya, the 280x is your best bet. do yourself a favour tho. do not cheap out on your power supply. spend the money and get a good quality one.

I speak from experience. my first pc met an untimely end due to a cheap power supply.

280X is a 7970 (previous top tier AMD card) with a new bios, so you can't go wrong with it's price to performance, I would recommend the XFX double dissipation as I've heard many good things about that card.
