I'm curious about a few things, so I'll ask a few questions.

For starters, I have two PC's.

One is a (965 BE OC to 4.0, 5 GB DDR2 800, Biostar Tpower 750a, SLI GTX 260's OC about 60 Mhz, 5 120MM Fans, 1 HDD)

The other is a (2550K OC to 4.5, 8 GB DDR3 1600, MSI Z77A-G45, SLI GTX 260's OC about 60 Mhz, 3 140MM Fans, 2 120MM Fans, 1 SSD)

The PSU on the first PC is a:

Antec Earthwatts EA-650 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015

The PSU on the second PC is a:

Corsair TX650 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020

The question I asked earlier was, Could I use SLI 760's on my new system? The general response was upgrade or no, I understand this, but It got me curious as to why either of the two could even run what they are running in the first place, the 760 and the 260 have similar power draw, I think at max load SLI 760's would use a round 50 or so watts more then the 260's if they were stock, but my old system used significantly less power considering the max (stock) power draw from a 2500k is around 130, and the 965 is around 223, Plus the voltage is bumped up quite a bit so I'm sure it uses a fair amount more then that.

I've done a GPU and CPU stress test on my old system for 4+ Hours at the same time and it was golden, so considering that is more then 650W my questions is why did it continue to run and or why wasn't there a crash or ... something.

Just bought the TX 650 and would hate to buy another PSU to SLI a pair of 760's , just bought the first one today, awaiting shipping now. But in a month or two when I feel like buying a second one after paying some bills, I would hate having to resell the old one. =/ Craigs list and ebay annoy me.

That's what I figured considering I was running the two 260's just fine. Might order a second one right now, just got 200 dollars for my old computer with one 260 in it. :D

Craigslist finally pulled through, and I wasn't murdered! I had my pocket knife ready... just in case.
