Windows 10 "pirate" upgrade

I don't understand why Microsoft is making a big deal, I thought logically the non genuine keys with stay that Way during upgrade, but anyway wont they just be able to recrack windows anyway?

I have a friend He had pirated. 8.1 at launch still running ( I think)

yes but thats with a kms server most likely..and thats not a perment activation

the server has to be re-run every few months

What big deal? They have already confirmed pirated copies will not get activated for free when upgrading to Windows 10.

 

If Windows 10 gets pirated and cracked then so be it.

MS will probably make it harder to pirate. I hope MS does something crafty with the built in BitLocker.

I also think if windows 8 had a permanent crack...it would have been adopted by more people
