Is it just gaming? If so save money and go with an i5 instead otherwise solid build. If you want to video edit/render/stream then keep the i7.

Get one 2tb dirve over 2 1tb drives, its far cheaper and same performance. 

an i7 for gaming alone is overkill, the 4690K would do a superb job. 

Other than those though it looks pretty good to me, I personally wouldn't get dual 980's, the price premium on them is just ehhh... I'd shoot for something like a single 295 or even at that price a Titan X.

Those are my recording drives is it good for 1080p 60fps?

build a x99 on paper and compare it to the z97 you got already...

keep in  mind the 2011 sockets last longer..are upgradeable longer then the consumer stuff..normally
