I'm going to say yes you will need to update the BIOS in order to use the CPU.

Bear in mind this is an educated guess - the CPU may work out-of-the-box but I have no way of knowing what BIOS the motherboard comes with.

Yeah not a problem, pc part picker also says it so I would rather not take the risk.
