Just wondering what new generation gpu i should get or . . . . .

Should i do a whole new system build ?

Is my i7 2600 going to hold me back or . . . .

Impulse purchase a high end gpu ?????

i7 2600 is still a perfect CPU. Also what games do you  plan on playing?

 

GTX 980 would work fine with it as well.

i7 2600 is still a perfect CPU. Also what games do you  plan on playing?

 

GTX 980 would work fine with it as well. 

 

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's still perfect (in comparison to the price of other i5 & i7 CPUs right now).. But, I do agree, it'll do just fine paired with a good GPU.

Got an MSI GTX 660 Twin frozr

might hang out for a R9 390X
