Troubleshooting PC problems

Hi guys,

My pc restarts a few minutes after boot,

ive tried multiple things to try and fix or identify the problem

• Windows fresh install
• running with a new gpu
• changing memory

Does anyone have any other ideas?

 

• windows 8 Pro 64-Bit
• AMD FX-8150, coolermaster 725w extreme 2 PSU, seagate barracude 2TB, ASUS M5A97  R2, corsair h015 cooler, ASUS RADEON HD7770, 16GB Memoery g.skills
• BIOS Version 2501

Well dose it say any thing when it turns off. Is you cooler on you CPU on good with thermal compound

I have experienced an issue like this before, the fix for it for me was re plugging in my sata cable and the power for the Hard Drive, if that does not work try updating your bios, or replugging all the cables and checking connections.

reinstall the stock heat sink and fan.

 

keep side off of case.

 

boot up. what happens?

 

edit: try a cmos reset first.

I would go with swapping out the hdd
