How to make case more quiet?

Instead of trying to dampen the sound, you could get a noise-dampening hard drive mount that uses springs or some sort of rubber to suspend the hard drive, reducing vibrations. Tomshardware has a great guide on how to reduce hard drive noise here

Ok so im soon gonna sell my Acer Predator G3620.

It has great ingame performance for the price but it has no dustfilter and is very loud.

 

To be able to ensure satisfaction for the next owner of the pc i need to make it more quiet and add some dustfilters.

Dustfilter i was gonna take some thin cloth (like something in style of socks) and have over the 2 main holes as this case dosent have intake fans (but 1 exhaust fan).

Now to make it more quiet. What can i put on the insides of the sidepanels to make it more quiet? :huh:

Line it with thin foam. Or just join the superior SHIELD. :)

just make it so that the computer cannot turn on and it'll be super quiet. But no seriously just line the inside with dampening foam or get quieter fans.

It has 1 fan and the main thing that is creating noise is the harddrive.

Seriously? You're kidding. SSD is pretty popular thing now. If you care that much about noise get one, I mean it's worth more than getting a tacky foam solution.
