CPU Intergrated Graphics

Is it possible to adjust how much memory the intergrated graphics on a CPU use

 

Me and my brother tried to go into his bios to check but couldn't get any mice to work so we gave up.

 

I believe they are Intels HD Graphics 2000.

yes you can adjust up to 1gig (atleast in ivy bridge HD4000)

Hello there! Yes you can adjust the amount of RAM the integrated GPU uses in the BIOS. In most BIOSs there is a setting for the minimum amount of RAM that can be used and a maximum amount. 

But in reality the RAM is actually dynamically shared, meaning that the GPU will automatically use more RAM when it requires it. You can just set a maximum limit of how much it can use. At stock it is usually set at a bit less than 2GB, but this number varies. 

Also in BIOS versions mice do not work. You will have to use a keyboard.

Thanks for the detailed response, I should have mentioned it was uefi bios so the most should work, it used to but didn't (didn't work on my brothers wireless mouse or my wired rat 3)
