Okay, so I have the specs listed below

Pentium Dual-Core E5300 CPU @ 2.6GHz Stock clocks
Pegatron Benicia 1.01 (Socket LGA775) Mobo
Nvidia Geforce GT 620 PNY Edition
6GB DDR2 Samsung RAM (Do not know model name)

Liteon 250w PSU.
Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 500GB HDD
HP Midsize ATX (Micro ATX) OEM Case

HP FH970AA LSI SV92EX 56K PCI Express x1 (PCIe) Low Profile Data/Fax Modem

So, whenever I overclock my gpu, (because it's just not good enough for me) after a random amount of time, the driver crashes. Whenever I start up my computer, after a while of usage, the driver just crashes. Could it be my power supply? Could I have a faulty GPU? Thanks.

That power supply is not very powerful. How are you overclocking?

!?#@$#%^$&%^* I don't know. From 700 mhz to 910 mhz then the driver crashes after a while.

That's the problem. You're jumping too far. Go slow. Increase by 5-10MHz at a time, play a game, then continue on if stable.

Dude sick rig, post in the build log section. I am sure your dust management is top notch.

But anyway I wouldn't even try to overclock those components.

Would you mind taking your power supply out and jumping it?

Thought you said "Would you mind taking your power supply out and jumping on it?" for a second.

Can you describe what exactly happens when the computer crashes?

Good question

Are we talking green screen with stripes, blue screen with white text or freezing or?

I think you may have killed your card.

Go into afterburner or precision whatever you used to OC your card and make sure everything is default. Then restart a few times and try running a game or furmark

I think you should just take that build and send it to someone in Africa. < That joke doesn't work as well since our stupid government gave Africa 7 billion dollars.

Anyways it could be related to other hardware or software issues. Stick the card into another sick build of yours upgrade the psu and run some other diagnostics. It's not like were just going to be able to tell.

I'm broke and live with my parents. They buy everything. It's not I can say "Mom, can you go buy some random computer?" And I don't have any other computers laying around. I guess when the "Buy, Sell, Trade" feature comes to the forum, I'll sell it. The thing is, when my driver crashes, it just makes a blue-screen (plain blue color), and the driver fixes itself. I can play games on my computer fine, though.
