I've been facing this error since the last month and ignored it because it didn't seem critical at that moment.

Now whenever to start my PC, I get a message "No Bootable device found. Insert a bootable disk and press any key".

So I've to restart it a few times and the automatic repair system kicks in..then it takes ages for it to complete the repair(sometimes it fails) and after about 6-8 attempts the computer boots up.

I've ran chkdsk many times.

And also why does Speccy show it as Good?!?!?

Do I need to RMA my drive? Or a clean format will solve this issue? I don't want to lose my data.

Thanks in advance,

It's not a good sign. Back up anything important immediately.

My recommendation is to
1) Do a full format (not quick format) on the drive. Note any errors/failures.

2) Copy some random data over, a few gigs will do
3) Do another full format. Note any errors/failures.

If both full formats complete without trouble I wouldn't be too worried. If they both have errors/failures at the same points, then it's possible there's just some bad sectors. Not great but I would use the drive with caution.

If they both have errors/failures at different points that indicates the drive is definitely having trouble and I'd replace it as soon as is financially feasible. Perhaps use it to store stuff you're not worried about losing.
