I would go for the AMD buiild, just because there's an SSD in there :)

Also in gaming load you shouldnt see that much of a difference in terms of performence

Go for whatever is cheaper, you will not notice a difference in performance game wise for either build. As long as you are happy with the form factors I dont see a reason to really play a favorite as both with give you the same performance in games, go for whatever is more friendly for your wallet.

I would go with haswell ITX, but i'll wait for the ROG Rampage VI Impact, that board is awsome.

Buy the Maximus VI Hero.

The impact will be much more expensive than the hero right?

I don't think so, and he will build a mini ITX, Hero is ATX
