960, it's about the same performance as an R9 280, but a bit worse because it's missing 1GB of RAM.

I'm just hoping this 270x will play Payday 2...

Seems to be doing pretty ok at 1080p but I haven't had time to install any games because I just got the pc up...

Oh yeah, it'll definitely play Payday 2.

The 960, the lesser vram isn't really an issue at 1080p gaming

It can be in some games. Shadow of Mordor needs 3GB for 1080P for High textures.

Umm I haven't had time to put the sides back on my pc, is that gonna be a problem?

Really don't wanna shut it down since it said it's gonna take 2 hours to download the game -_-

It'll be fine. Just keep your cat away and get them on when you can.

Right now all I want to get downloaded is Payday 2 and Truck Sim 2...

Hoping none of my games in my library need a 3gb+ card...

Nope, you'll be fine with a 270X for all of those games. If anything you might have to lower the settings a bit.

Yeah a 270x will do fine for payday

Yeah the cases where that will be an issue are pretty few and far between though.

It's getting to be more though. It was that 2GB was more than enough, but textures are getting huge lately and more VRAM really helps.

Debating if I wanna sell the 270x in the long run or the 7950 (3gb card)

Thoughts?

I know the 960 is staying...

Do you already have a 7950? Because that's pretty much the same performance as the 960.

The 7950 is like 3-4 years old and has no warranty and the fan on it is louder then a semi...

Good point, I'd sell both and maybe get another 960, or a 970 if you want to sell the 960 as well.

The GTX 970 would be a good choice IMHO. Especially this one:
