DirectX Issue?

Hi! I used to be a happy gamer with a nice performing PC.

 

 

Until I fucking installed Crysis 2 (legally of course, through Steam)

 

Since then I get very bad stuttering in Battlefield 4 with very high FPS (more than 70-80). Today I reinstalled BF4 (redownloadded the whole thing), but it doesn't fix it.

Reinstalled Drivers.

 

I tried to Restore the PC before the "DirectX Install" that Crysis 2 did, but I couldn't.

 

I don't want to reinstall the OS.

 

What the hell can I do?

Well, seeing as you had to point out "legally" I'm guessing you pirated it.

Let this be a lesson not to steal content.

 

To fix it, try running a full virus sweep, then "refresh"

I mean it. I didn't pirated it, I purchased it from steam man...

 

Said that to clear stuff and avoid the "did you pirated it?" question.

Simply re installing it should fix it.

That reinstalls DirectX?

It would If I had linked to the right page...

 

Run CMD as an admin and type "SFC /Scannow" Without Quotes.

Haha you made me download a PP presentation.

Did that, everything fine, didn't found issues /:

At the risk of sounding stupid; I have never had to deal with directX issues, so I don't know much about troubleshooting it. It's just kinda worked for me.

The only thing i can think of is to either install another game that has directx as part of it's install, or to re install windows.

My 970 did the same thing. do a clean install in safe mode and that should solve it :)

You mean Driver Clean Install?

Already did that, but I only uninstalled the driver, I forgot to uninstall PhysX, the HD audio and Miracast audio divers.

I have to give it another shot?
