I recently got a new pair of bookshelf speakers, and they have the bare wire for connections, and the little adapter I made to go from 3.5mm to bare wire doesn't work terribly well as my PC can't quite drive the speakers very well with it.

I do have a 3.5mm to RCA audio adapter that I can use.

Currently I am looking at getting this amp: http://www.amazon.com/Lepai-LP-2020A-Tripath-Class-T-Amplifier/dp/B0049P6OTI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426558001&sr=8-1&keywords=Amplifier

If you know of a better one for under $30 or so on amazon (usa) that is around the same size and can be mounted to things (I'd probably end up mounting it under my desk or to the top of my desk) that would be great. (Also, if I go for the Lepai LP 2020A, should I get the normal version or spend a little more and get the + version?)

The 2020A+ is good. Make sure you get the one that is $26 though. The other is not properly listed. If you pay attention to the title on the other one, it's a Lepy 2024A+ not a Lepai.

Lepai makes great amps for the money. I have the one that looks like an aftermarket car stereo, and I love it. Afaik the 2020A+ is even better
