So my new Gigabyte gtx 970 has big fps drops on all the games i have played. On League of Legends my fps is around 200-300 and then the fps drops to around 30 fps for a second. same thing in CS GO and Assassin's creed Unity. Anyone got some ideas why this is happening?

Well LoL and CS:GO are more CPU intensive..

What is your full build to start off?

consider the FPS frops in league as a patch problem a lot have been having them even me
Unity is a bad game to start with really poor configuration
and CS GO is most likly lags i guess with your rig you should be fine i had a 2500K and it worked fine with these games

When I had my my FX6300 and Radeon HD 3870(LOL) I got 60fps on league of legends maxed all the time. (Capped FPS at 60) Are there any sketchy programs running the background of your computer? Maybe something simple like re-installing video card drivers would help. I suggest using DDU (http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/) to completely remove your old video drivers then just install the latest drivers from Geforce experience

GPU temp: 37 C

CPU temp: 50 C

The CPU temperature looks a bit high if these are idle temperatures. I would check to see if your heatsink is full of dust and if it can be cleaned, and perhaps even re-seating the CPU heatsink with some new thermal paste. GPU temps should be higher if it is under load, but for idle, it sounds about right.
