i have put together a part list for a PC i am planning on building

If you could tell me if this would work and if you have any ideas to make it better (cant bee anymore expensive) that would be great

Compatibility Notes
  • MSI Z97S SLI Plus ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.
  • The NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 330mm long, but video cards over 230mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card is 269mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

Main Rig - Case: Fractal Design Pop Air XL Motherboard: Asus TUF B650 Plus WIFI CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 RAM: Corsair Nautilus 240 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB 3000MHz32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz  SSD: 1 TB 1TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe

H100i is not necessary, but i like the way it looks. im not really that bothered about the front panel USB and i THINK the hard drive cages will still be good as i only need 1

You may not be bothered by the front panel USBs but they are useful.

Still handy to have and an USB 3.0 to a USB 2.0 isnt pricey.

Ok so you won't be recording then editing and rendering? You are just going to game? If so this is the parts I would go with: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/tPHXpgI changed the GPU to EVGA, it is still the 970 but it is Superclocked and smaller than the MSI one so you will have more room at the hard drive bays. I changed the PSU because you didn't need 650 watts as you were estimated to leave 300 of those watts unused so I chose the 550w 80+ gold psu from Corsair. I changed the SSD because this one is a high performing SSD but cheaper. This personally is how I would go with for the parts with your budget and needs for it, but it is your own rig and a great thing about it is you ultimately make the choice so good luck with your pc.

Something to note if you haven't yet with it is the 550w still leaves room for upgrades in there without needing a new PSU but you still should check on PartPicker to make sure things are compatible (maybe if you want SLI with your GPU's in the future). The SSD is 80 gb less but it is still a big performer and I'm guessing you will use the SSD as the storage to boot Windows off of so you won't need the extra 80 gb. With this build it also went under your budget so you weren't going over like you were in the beginning. Have fun with your PC.
