A friend of mine I met on wow years ago who I hang out with once a year tours the country with the Lucas Oil Late Model Series and sometimes does a bit of Nascar. Every year he invited me out to a few races and we hang out. Well he is getting tired of hearing how awesome my PC is and wants me to build him something better than mine. He is a tech guy like me but is busy and just had a stupid amount of money. Plus I am making 200 bucks off the deal as well he wanted to give me more but I said 200+ shipping call it even. So here is my personal PC in reference to his, mind you he plays at 2560x1440 and wants to max every game out there.

I7-2600K @ 4.5GHz

4x4GB DDR3 1600MHz

128GB Samsung 840 Pro

120GB OCZ vertex 3

CM HAF 932 Blue

CM GX 650 80+ Bronze

Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-x

Now his PC is a little weird let me explain. He wants something stable, but he said future overclocking may not hurt. An evo 212 will keep that thing cool as shit at stock. I would go with a Noctua NH-D14 but it's heavy and might break during shipping. He has 1.2 Pentabytes of storage on his home server, so he wants a 512GB SSD for windows 7 + games and 256GB for linux. He will re-install the graphics cards because I will ship those separate. This will be a fun build log.

PS: Can you ship a Noctua NH-D14 w/o breaking?

Specs: Core I7-2600K @ 4.5GHz @ 1.35V, 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance Black 1600MHz CL9, Cooler Master Evo 212, MSI Z77 Mpower Motherboard, Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X @ 1000/1400, Cooler Master HAF 932 Blue Edition w/ 3 Cougar Hydraulic Bearing 120MM fans (2 up top 1 in the bottom) replaced side panel with a window, and rear fan with a Cougar Hydraulic Bearing 140MM, Cooler Master GX 650 80+ Bronze PSU, Samsung DVD-RW, Samsung 840 Pro 128GB SSD, Seagate 750GB SATA III 7200RPM

NH-D14 has 1.2kg i think. That WILL break the mobo if it's shaken a good amount of time.Use an AIO, H80 or smth. Also, what is a pentabyte in your description?

Codename: HighFlyer, specs:  CPU: i5 2500k cooled by a H70ish(2 rad)   Mobo: MSI MPower Z77   GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 1150 MHZ core, 3150 memory both   RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16G @1600mhz   SSD: ADATA Premier Pro sx900 / HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB/Samsung 1TB   Power supply: Corsair RM650 80+ Gold   Case Corsair Carbide 500R   5.4 ghz achieved on the good old 2500k, may it rest in peace. Just setup the cooler for him but don't mount it on. Then just put the cooler in the box and tell him how to get it on. Also he should get a 4770k instead and the CPU won't run without a motherboard. Someone recommend a Z87 motherboard since I do not know any good ones. Get rid of that PSU and get a Corsair TX 650 or Seasonic G series.

EDIT: I completely missed the link. Looks good to me.

It's a bit pointless to get the samsung 840 Pros. The speed difference is negligible. You might as well get 250GB Samsung 840 non-pros and put them in raid 0.

You should also bump up to an H220 for better cooling.

The mobo is a flop in my oppinion, but your chioce. The gd65 would be a better choice for that CPU.
