Mash delete when turning on the PC, you will go into the BIOS, then set your ram modules to XMP

i did it and its still the same speed.

i was faced with choosing

[manual]

[custom]

[xmp profile 1]

[xmp profile 2]

there is no difference between custom and profile 1/2

DDR3 1333/1600 MHz support RAM Socket * 4, Dual channels support

up to 32 GB total (8GB*4)

Did you put in the specific "clips" for the RAM?

what do you mean by clips?

Where you put the Ram in.

When you look at ram it only tells you the half speed of it.

My Build....sorta. close enough http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YMG4mG

well i put the dims in the board the right way making sure they were using dual channel.

and i build the pc myself,

bought the case+psu+motherboard as a bearbone on ibood.com (on sale)

bought the gpu from a friend for €70

and bought the rest new in local stores
