My dad needs a computer that's able to browse the web and do basic document work, he has my old Dell Dimension 2400 but its terribly slow.

I thought about a Chromebook, but I was looking into building one when I came across this on pc part picker. http://pcpartpicker.com/guide/fBcCmG/simple-web-browsing-for-165

I have a spare AMD fanless 1gb graphics card and a 120gb 2.5" HDD also that could be used.

Any thoughts on this? Anything better?

That list is very outdated and most of the parts don't even have prices any more.

id go with a h81 mobo and a pentium g3220
