Hi i have a small problem with my t440s and its driving me mad can anyone tell me if this a dead pixel or if its anything else if its infact dead pixels ill be able to claim warranty but i need someones opinion

8GB Ram

Samsung (OEM) 120gb SSD

Touch Screen 1080p

take a magnifying glass, hold it up to the screen, take a photo of it through the magnifying glass.  Your camera works almost identically to the human eye, so by varying the focal length you will be able to take a magnified image of the problem, from there we can use digital zoom to get in and take a closer look.

 

Here is what a dead/missing pixel looks like on one of my 1920x1080 screens using this method and and iphone for a camera

Make the whole screen Red, green, and blue (separately) and take pictures of each.

I could be a dead pixel, or just a stuck one.
If it's a stuck one, there is hope; if it's dead, you may be SOL.
Most manufacturers will only replace a screen if it has X amount of pixels dead in the same area.
