Nexus 4, it's $309 here in Canada.

No upgrading required, by the way. Very good hardware too, especially for the price.

It's £292.00 :( http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-Nexus-Android-Smartphone-Sim-Free/dp/B00APXX7D4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373054420&sr=8-1&keywords=nexus+4

I can't access the UK site to purchase the Nexus 4 in the Play store since it keeps redirecting me, but is there any pricing when you click the "shop now" button here?

£279 for the 16gb version and £239 for the 8gb version... Is there a MicroSD input for expanding the storage if so then the 8gb option seems like one I could go for XD Just over my budget... A BIT :)

Nexus devices are notorious for not including a microSD slot. Are you sure that you'll need one, though? Remember that it'll add to the cost if you need to buy that as well.

I already have a spare microSD so yeah... but shame! I have about 6gb of music on my phone... always, so yeah I need it. I love my music XD then after a few apps and pictures taken from the camera, it gets full very very quickly :( I have a Lumia 800 with 8gb and I regret it... I used to have a LOVELY Sony Ericsson with expandable storage with 32gb microSD card.... Not anymore... sad times.

Just ask over at XDA and pretty much any phone can haz Jelly Beanz

For that price point you might be able to find something like a Huawei Ascend P1 (Great phone for the price, very unknown company keeps price down), if not their Honour is great too and is only like 130-140£

You might be able to get something like an Oppo Find 5 (Flagship phone from unknown company, it's great) or a Nexus 4 used or off Ebay though.

Btw found this at amazon, would be better than a S II http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009PIZCHY/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics

Stuff I have I like: Moto G - Superlux HD681 Evo - Monoprice 9927

Oppo find 5 is an EXCELENT phone , Oppo was once one of the most premium blue-ray player brands you could get..

Other than that the support is kinda bad so no 4.3 ...

I would suggest looking at some offers on the Galaxy s2 plus
