MSI mobo HELP! srsly!

so....... i kinda broke my friends computer by trying to prank him... by downclocking it.... uhhhhh, it won't boot, we got into the 2nd bios and it won't detect an operating system. he has 2 kingston SSD's in RAID 0, and we don't know what to do! we try to open up the original bios and the mobo says "9A" and just turns off. all i did in the bios was turn down the frequency, and we originally overlocked it using MSI's OC genie. btw, the mobo is the MSI z87 MPower Max

Remove the CMOS battery for a few seconds and then put it back in. It should reset the BIOS to factory settings.

Reinstalling the OS isn't an option if the system shuts off. Downclocking the CPU should not even affect the OS in any way.
