So i have been wanting to build a new computer for a while now as my old one is, well dyeing so i am now planning to go all out on a build. The Specs will be below but i wish for you feed back.

specs:

Corsair Obsidian 900D

Asus X99 Deluxe Motherboard

Intel I7 5960x CPU

32 GB Corsair Vengance LPX ddr4 ram

2x GTX Titan Blacks, later 4

Corsair AX1500I PSU

WD 1TB Caviar Blue hard drive

A 120 or 240gb ssd of some sort.

After I have tested all of the parts to see if they work I will pursue water cooling however i need suggestions on a solid full cover with back plate titan black water block. Also would the CPU be able to safely be overclocked when a loop is introduced, bare in mind i may end up with two loops, one for gpu and one for the cpu and finally would a Corsair 900D be able to fit such extreme hardware in and if not can you suggest a different case.

One last thing, would the 1500w psu be able to handle 4 titans?

This is overkill to the max but anyway

EK make some good waterblocks with backplates for the titan

1500w should be enough

The 900D is a huge case, it should do fine

CPU: 6600K @ 4.6Ghz | COOLER: H100i GTX | MOBO: Asus Z170 AR | GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid | RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB |

CASE: Corsair 760T | PSU: Corsair RM750x | STORAGE: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB & Seagate 2TB | KEYBOARD: K70 RGB | MOUSE: Deathadder Elite

Instead of 2-4 way sli titans i may just go for 2-4 way sli 980s as they are cheaper and new.

What are going to be using this for?

CPU: 6600K @ 4.6Ghz | COOLER: H100i GTX | MOBO: Asus Z170 AR | GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid | RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB |

Not sure at the moment i'm concentrating on the rig then i may get a new monitor.

Well this rig would be insanely powerful and very overkill.

CPU: 6600K @ 4.6Ghz | COOLER: H100i GTX | MOBO: Asus Z170 AR | GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid | RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB |

In your opinion would you go for 4 way sli titans or 4 way sli 980s baring in mind that i would still need money for 4K monitors.

Well I wouldn't go 4K at all since the technology isn't quiet there yet but I think 4 way 980s would be better.

The extra cost of the titans wouldn't be worth the slight boost in performance.

CPU: 6600K @ 4.6Ghz | COOLER: H100i GTX | MOBO: Asus Z170 AR | GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid | RAM: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB |

Also how long would you expect the computer to last considering the fact it's using new parts and new technology?

With 4 980s assuming you take care of it and nothing brakes maybe around 3-4 years

Will have to wait and see how good directx 12 is, as it's rumored to improve performance for SLI

Sweet with that in mind i may drop to a Corsair AX1200I PSU, I would think that would be more then enough to power the whole system.

Even with overclocks it should only use about 1000w at max load

I'm guessing that is only for the GPU's and not including the 5960k

That should be including the CPU as well.

The 980s are very efficient.

Hmm okay, The build should cost around £5000 then seeing as amazon prices with 2 980s show as £3000 (could probably find cheaper sites) Later on will add the other two then i would have to allow money for the water cooling blocks, radiators etc.

I Don't think they ship to the UK, do you know any other sites?

They don't ship anything, they just show you who has the cheapest prices from the UK.

By default it's set to United States but you can change the country so it uses only vectors within the UK.

I've just noticed that the X99- Deluxe only supports 3 way sli :/ is that with air coolers or can it support 4 way sli as well if its water cooled.

Well since the 980s would become single slot cards with waterblocks on them it should work but the spacing between the cards might be weird, plus the board doesn't official support 4 way sli so it doesn't include a 4 way sli bridge so you will need to buy one separately if you want to use this board.

It would probably be a better idea to change the board.

Gaming, Editing the lot.

You don't need the 5960X unless you are doing Editing/Rendering for a living.

I would suggest the i7 5930K if you want to go down the X99 path and plan on a multi gpu setup. Otherwise the i7 4790K and 16GB Ram is more than enough.

4 way SLI is a bit overkill imo though. I would wait and see how DX12 pans out first.
