You don't need the 5960X unless you are doing Editing/Rendering for a living. 

 

I would suggest the i7 5930K if you want to go down the X99 path and plan on a multi gpu setup. Otherwise the i7 4790K and 16GB Ram is more than enough.

 

4 way SLI is a bit overkill imo though. I would wait and see how DX12 pans out first.

 4 gen processors don't work on the X99 Platform only the i7 5820k, 5930k and the 5960x work on that platform and fair enough.

I meant i7 4790K (Z97) is another option over the X99 platform. The 5960X is a waste if you are just doing casual Video editing etc.

 

the computer is gonna last up to 4 years and i want to squeeze every drop i can because i'll be live streaming, video editing and rending videos up to 4 hours long.

do you know of a nice black and white themed motherboard? 

At the moment the isn't any white themed X99 motherboards that support 4 way sli.
