Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

bro.... any ideas for the whole build? choose some parts and ask if its good. otherwise say what games do you want to play with it and  if you include peripherals at this budjet.

Abit over budget, its a great place to start. It will allow you to upgrade later on. For example, if you got another 970 you could do SLI. Or you could upgrade your CPU to a K proccessor and take use of the Z97 board. It also has another 2RAM slots to upgrade the RAM if needed.
