Go in the bios. What does it say? Does it read 8 or 6? You may have accidentally disabled two cores, you can do that with the bios.

Well, the error I am getting is I have an am fx 8320 which should be showing 8 cores however it only shows 6. When I first purchased the computer it showed 8 cores however after around 6 months it has now changed in the past week or so, I am not sure if there is a fix to this or anything but please help, if you need additional information just ask because I am quite new with this type of thing.
