Overclockable ram with Low profile?

i am searching an overclockable ram with low profile becuze i gonna buy a Noctua NH-D14 on my intel core i7-4770k CPU and i need ram with low profile to have space for the CPU Cooler.

 

I gonna buy a Gigabyte g1 sniper 5 by the way

 

So do you guys know a overclockable ram with low profile`?

RAM dimms are all the same these days, you've probably heard of the binning process: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Product_binning

this is the only thing that's different in the dimms: the quality of the silicon used in the memory chips, and this quality is what differentiates the overclocking potential of these dimms. Now, not all memory sellers actually make their own silicon chips, they buy it from hte companies who make it. Those companies who make it usually also make RAM, so they keep the best "binned" chips (the ones that are the most reliable or that overclock the best) for themselves and sell the "worst" ones to other companies, now that doesn't mean that all RAM sticks are bad. There are certifications for ram sticks for exemple the PC3-12800 certification guarantees that your RAM will run at least @1600mhz. Just because a RAM stick is certified for PC3-12800

 doesn't mean it won't run @ higher clockspeeds than 1600Mhz, it's a baseline. Sometimes when manufacturers don't have enough PC3-12800 certified sticks they will put the PC3-14900 (1866Mhz) certified sticks in PC3-12800

 boxes that's when you are lucky.

i agree i run this bad boys at 2000mhz   9-11-11-11 cr2 ,1.6v  with stock coolers and no airflow in my case,i might get ram coolers for them tho they are getting quite hot when im rendering

he mean you can overclock the rams more than others designed to with their stock cooling

Just remember on the Haswell platform the more you overclocking ur CPU, the less u'll be able to overclock ur RAM. At 4.5 GHz u probably wont see 2133 mhz on the RAM.

I'd suggest the Corsair Vengeance LP aswell but g.skill ripjaws are pretty good too (apparently). alternatively you could get corsair dominators and remove the fins on top - they are held there by 2 or 3 screws.

Yes... They're the Vengeance pro series... The amount of modules and clock speed does not usually affect the size of the dimm...

Really any ram doesn't need heatspreaders until they hit 2400mhz then they get nice and toasty.

Ods are unless you spent like 1000$ on your ram they won't get to a speed where heat could be an issue.
