Windows Bluescreen

Go to solution Solved by Oberon.Smite,

Welcome to the forums.

It's because there was a lot of stress on the GPU in that machine. If it can't run TF2, I don't know how you're ever going to game on it. It's not really a problem, just more  of a "this laptop can't run an undemanding game" kind of thing.

BTW mentioning how many Ghz your CPU has does nothing. There are 4.5Ghz CPUs that suck, but there are 2.0Ghz Xeons that are extremely powerful. Mentioning the actual model might help, but other than that not really. And 1GB RAM? Dude, how do you even run Windows on that smoothly? Not trying to hate.

I really hope you have another machine for gaming man :D

I have a old laptop 0.99 gb ram 2.00ghz cpu window vista I thought i could play team fortress 2 on it. the specs were low for the game. I booted the game up some audio started looping i thought that was weird. I can remeber why but i restarted my computer the it look like someone scketched my screen out (like draw) it was black + white i got scared then it fixed i was relieved but the it bluescreened i read the bluescreen siad window needed to restart because of my display driver. My Laptops okay now but i decided to just browse the internet on it for now on

I was a console peasant I used this crap laptop to get into the PC Master Race but I soon realized that not alot of stuff ran good on it. So Im Considering building a computer I just gotta save up for it.

EDIT: My Latop is a Dell Latitude D520. I think i got the Ghz wrong.
