So my brother friend has asked me to help him fix viruses on his iMac, not sure the year. He says he can't click more than 20 times without some giveaway or ad popping up. I have zero experience fixing Macs, I have used them once in a blue moon but that's it. Any ideas of where to start?

clean my mac might help that if that doesnt help ids say use unibeast get a copy of mavericks and give it a clean install it takes alot of work to get a virus on a mac

OS X can natively be reinstalled without using the Hackintosh method. Unibeast is only for installing on non Mac hardware.

Don't bother.

Tell him to call Apple support.

That's why their products are expensive, right?

Lol virus on a Mac.

Well I am being offered access to their computer and offered money. I want a hackintosh and have no access to a Mac so this might be my chance to get what I need.
