does my HDD have windows

The newest Linus video stated that some HDDs have preinstalled windows on them. I took my old HDD out of my all in one and eveytime I wiped it with dell data safe I still had windows on it. So if I stab it into my motherboard will it still be there?

I didn't wipe it after I pulled it out... Everything is still on there

The PC didn't even come with a disk. It came preinstalled completely and I couldn't figure how to get rid of it if I tried. I just dunno if it will still be on the HDD. Or if the is was stored somewhere else.

This sentence amuzes me.

Anyway, what type of Windows did it previously have? Older version of Windows normally don't recognize new motherboards without reformatting and reinstalling them.

how can you wipe something with a software ? it's like trying to die by holding your breadth , both things are not possible, i assume you used dell software to erase all the drives except C ?

no the actual files might be there but there is no path to them and they will most likely be ver y corrupted
