I purchased the deathadder 2013 over this mouse a few days ago, every time i lift the mouse a tiny bit it stops tracking for sometimes up to 5 seconds. I lift a lot when playing games so this makes the mouse useless to me. I have got a refund from amazon and i want to know from some g502 owners is the mouse capable of tracking when lifting in games?

I'm not sure about IMPERIUS but my G502 does not track when you lift it off at all. The lift off distance for me is really really short. I'm using a cloth mouse pad if you wanted to know.

You must "Quote" to get my attention.

The lift-off distance is quite short, if that would bother you. Personally I never have to lift my mouse at all.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

G502 tracks only when you have it on surface, when lifted it stops tracking but there is no such problem, when mouse is back on surface it just work.

More about G502, there is no problems with metal scroll wheel, it is not slippery but button that is responsible for muddle click is not microswitch but momentary button, so it is harder to actually press it, sniper button (or dpi shift button) is very likely to press by accident, and my thumb rests before it. also left and right switch of scroll wheel are likely to press by accident when you try just to press middle.

Scroll wheel itself is good, there is no problems with free spin and normal mode.

I am not too bothered about a short lift distance but as long as it tracks again instantly as you put it back down its fine.

Oh, well that's a different matter entirely. As snappy as they come, you shouldn't find any problems there.

I do lifht the mouse as I use 1400-1600 DPI and only about 2.1 sensitivity in Counter-Strike.

Mouse is remarkable :)

I owned DA 2012 and had no issues with it, might be your mouse mat/surface u use it on fucking with the mouse sensor or mouse sensor being faulty :)

G502 is heavier. Its noticeable but didn't matter to me. Transmition was seemless :)

Usually I needed like week or two get used to new mouse, not this time though :P

I recommend doing "un-assign" in software to buttons next to left click button because u will accidentally press them from time to time.
