Will this bottleneck?

6300 and 270x are a perfect match.

I know a person that has that combo.

It's fine it will start bottleneck when you reach the high end gpu though.

Same here,.. a match made in Heaven

Anything less will be fine.

Repeat, YOU WILL NOT bottleneck the 270x's GPU usage.

Even if your CPU does have problems with the game engine not properly doing the CPU threading/distribution,.. it's still capable of acceptable performance near 60fps and the 270x playing games at High-Ultra is a perfect match in that regard.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Thanks a lot guys, last thing I wanted was a nice gpu that couldn't reach its full potential

If you moved to the 280x, it can bottleneck on CERTAIN titles. (Usually the ones that focus all CPU tasks on 1-2 cores)

Usually GPU bound in most games so even this GPU is okay for the most part..

It's when your chasing 100FPS or higher you can run into issues... (Not respective of all games either, some don't , some do)

270X is a fine choice.

Yea luckily the 270x is within my budget, no way I can afford the 280x so i'm in the clear

The 270x is a HD 7870. I dont think it is a worthy upgrade

If I remember correctly, some of the rebrands got a tiny clock frequency boost as well. (Could be Core or Mem)

270x is also twice as fast as the 7770.

6770 was replacing the 5770, the 7770 replaced those, main difference,.. GCN architecture in the 7770 where the others don't I'm pretty sure.

Once drivers tuned into GCN,.. it came good.

Early days, it performed like shit.

+1 for Driver enhancements.
