AMD Might Discontinue The Radeon 7990

Somebody should buy that product if it gets a price drop and wait for the crossfire fix update.

Nvidia had their fair share of issues as well in the past.

 

But they seemed to have learnt from them and made progress, still a long way to go but maybe AMD should take a leaf out of NVIDIA's book.

I think AMD is doing just fine, the frame-rating issue is blown way out of proportion & is being addressed as we speak with a driver containing AMD's own frame pacing technology called HeartBeat, AMD hadn't been made aware of this issue until just recently & for them to address it this quickly is frankly quite admirable.

This is also the first time ever that AMD has experimented with axial fan cooling designs on dual-GPU designs & there are bound to be improvements down the road.

They obviously aren't very confident in their upcoming fix.
