So as the title State Broadwell is on Z97 for asus boards for now should I buy a 17 4790k or wait for the 17 57** or what ever it called

Wait for broadwell

the thing is. all that broadwell brings to the table is IRIS graphics which are useless if you are using a dedicated GPU

and a lower wattage usage which in turn gives you slower speeds and less heat output. 

So I say no. 

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
