Might sound like a stupid question, but have you tried rebooting it? There's a slim chance that will fix it, it's almost definitely a hardware issue.

I fixed it, I hit it on both sides, turned it off, then hit it again, then started it again, and then it worked.

This solution might not work for everyone.

I did take off my smart cover before it was fixed too.

I did reboot it before I tried my solution, and I had suspicions that it might had been a hardware problem.

But thank you :D

If it's affecting you that much, just take it in to an apple store and ask them to take a look. Granted, they'll probably say "you'll have to replace the screen to fix it." If they do....*cough* buy an adroid tablet *cough*..... B)

I know I could have done that, but the screen is worknig well now, and I bought the tablet back in 2010 or 2011 and I didn't know better then getting an ipad.

Don't get me wrong, an iPad is a quality piece of equipment with the legacy of innovation behind it. I just can't deal with apple nonsense.
