Motherboard: I'm not sure about this one, i was going for:  Asus B85-PRO GAMER ATX LGA1150http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-b85progamer

but i was also thinking about this: MSI Z97-Gaming 3 ATX - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97gaming3LGA1150, which one should i choose?

I don't pretend to overclock it at the begining, maybe some years later when my pc will eventually be more outdated.

Also the motherboard should be Z97 because it allows you the potential to overclock, so the MSI mobo is the better option.

Are you ONLY gaming?

if Yes,

Go with i5 4690k and 8 gigjoules of ram

And a little bit of video editing. I would get a good deal with the I7 so will keep it.

Dude, if you're thinking of buying a B85 chipset your processor shouldn't have a K on it, so the Z97 is the logical option here. And honestly I would recommend Win8.1 over 7. Forget any prejudices, from an objective pov Windows 8.1 beats Windows 7.

For sure!

I would most def go with the 4790k even if I was primarily gaming because you just never know.

Comparative build.

This is ready for a second GTX 980, for whenever.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey guys i have a last minute indecision with the case.

Should i go for the normal Cooler Master 690 III ATX Mid Tower Case without a side window, or the same case with a side window   (5€ more expensive) ?

d58e5c409af8fb9095b7ba2341a32b7f.med.160or           cooler_master_cm_690_iii_window_black.jp

I will not use a side fan, and because the side opening is the only opening without a dust filter, i was thinking getting the case with the side window.

Is it going to affect temperatures that much since the GPU would not have a opening to exhaust hot air?

Will the side opening not get that much dust and dog hair?

Which one should i get?
