I know everyone says not to get headsets, saying they are overpriced blah blah blah, but honestly I have very limited options where I live anyway.

My maximum budget is $100 CAD, and I'm looking for a headset that's comfortable, has a decent mic, and I don't mind if its USB or Analog powered.

I'm currently looking at either the Siberia v2, the Kraken Pros, or the Vengeance 1500.

I'm open to any other suggestions, but these are what I have in mind so far.

If you could up the amount just a tad you could get a Logitech G35 (130 on Newegg, maybe 4th of july sales anywhere?)

The best buyings for you! Steelseries 7H USB (Linus talks about it all the time) ;)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826249053 - 4th of july deal so i would buy it quickly since it's a 150 dollar headset normally.

You also got this:

7H is just simply out of my price range, sorry :(

Yes, this will be mostly for gaming, skype calls, and a bit of music, however I'm looking for long term comfort as well.

I may pick a ASUS Xonar DG if I'm picking up a 3.5mm headset.

Regarding Razer:

I honestly haven't had any issue with Razer products, other than my Blackwidow Ultimate almost DYING on me twice (firmware, and drop of water), and my DeathAdder is treating me well.

I split between these three.

The Corsair Vengeance 1500 looks like the best headset IMO. My friend has one and when I tried it I was actually impressed with the sound quality, build, and the mic quality.

You live in Toronto? maybe check kijiji for a used 7h or ebay.ca last time I have seen there was 7h's for $58 new open box. Siberia V2's seem to be good as well.

Across the vast and majestic gulf of time and space, the jimmies rustle softly.
