I'm looking at getting some sound proofing for my room so i dont have to worry as much about waking people up.

I have been looking at http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141412648716

and http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/131300329724

i see that the studio acoustic foam is different to the other and i wanted to know if that would make a different in quality?

or if it dosent matter at all ?

thanks for the help :) :) :)

the acoustic foam is $50 per square foot

youre going to need several hundred square feet if you want to cover up even one wall of the room

do you really have $5000-$10000 to spend on this?

if its just for waking people up I suggest you turn your music down or use headphones because acoustic foam will not be enough for isolating your room from the rest of the house

acoustic foam is mostly for reducing echo
