I have Prime and use it purely for the free delivery and have definitely made back more than the $100 it costs. Given the amount I spend at amazon it was a no-brainer for me.

If you live in Canada, then maybe not, I've heard it's not so great in Canada. But otherwise, it's probably a good value if you order a lot from Amazon.

It is not too bad here If your not in one of the major cities then expect 3 days instead of 2. That's about it, but it sure does save driving into town if you live in the middle of no where. Also nice in the cites, Toronto especially

I can $100 back in about two weeks when I start mowing so it's not a huge loss. I use Amazon all the time and you can't really wait five days when you need to get some small item that you just forgot to get.

It was worth it for me, but because I buy CDs still and Amazon is the cheapest for that.  Plus then you get the free streaming with it too.

I was thinking about it. The Free 2 day shipping is enticing and all the other perks that come with it just make me wanna give it a shot.

If you're a student you can get 6 months for free, then half price for up to 4 years (so long as you don't cancel it at any point).

You can in the UK, at least. I plan on keeping Prime :)

Yeah that's what I did in Canada as well, it's worth it to me, but I order something just about every week.

You can get a free trial of amazon prime, so you should try it out first and then keep your $100 until you decide if it's really worth it.

Downloading programs from CNet is not a good idea, as they will commonly include unwanted, and sometimes dangerous bloatware... The more you know.

I have already done the free trial.

I see, then if you think you will use Amazon enough then I would say yes you should get it.
