If you want to wait for a 64Bit Octa-Core and DDR4 ram in a smartphone then do wait, since a Snapdragon 805 and 3Gb of DDR3 will emit more heat and consume more energy, with lower performance. Obviously since the "S6" cpu is a 14Nm and the Snap 805 is a 28Nm i think its obvious the performance difference of at least 30%.

Note 4 is an exellent aquisition, but if your worried with more cores then get the Note 4 Exynos. Its octa core but at lower clock speeds, which can result in better temps and higher multitasking, but lower graphical performance compared to the Snapdragon 805.

With exynos or snapdragon? In my country I can see snapdragon. Do you think if I had snapdragon can I be on same boat as S6?

Last time I used an Exynos was on the S3 and it was horrible. The Exynos version was laggy and stuttering all over the place when the Quallcomm's version in NA with dual core was so much better and smoother.

I still wouldn't get an Exynos Samsung, there is zero justification for 8 cores (6+2 to be specific) for a phone. I'd take less core with better efficiency and power in them.

If your overthinking like that then id wait for the Note 5, the S6 has too many issues "Non removable battery, glass frame could prove a sticker for fingerprints, no expandable storage, no S-pen, wont have many cases in the beginning and the price is ridiculous. Only the front facing camera got upgraded as well, and the battery of the note 4 is bigger no matter what samsung says ". Otherwise in terms of specs the note 4 would only be 25-35% behind the s6. So yes.... Its up to you now. In the mobile world thats nothing btw, the note 4 can crush any app and game. Altough no matter the device there will always be a ton of apps not well optimized and will lagg even if you have a tegra k1 or x1. Just get the best apps, otherwise the phone itself runs fine for its system. I never get an app with less than 5 stars, hope i helped you...

Ok ..... now if I buy a Note 4 probably in June. Because youu have it can you promise me I will not need to buy new phone in 1 or 2 years? And what processor do you have?

Note 4 is fine. Still one of the best flagship phone out there. And no one can make that promise of you not buying a phone in 1 or 2 years because we don't know how you treat your phone. But if all goes well, it should last over 2 years.

You forgot to add that the Battery for the S6 is 2550 mAh... on a phone with a 5.2" QHD display and an octa core CPU... granted the CPU is 14nm fabrication? It's still gonna sap the battery.

As a comparison? The Galaxy S5 had a 2800 mAh battery. That powered the 5.2" 1080P display with a Quad Core CPU... so the S6 has a 9% smaller battery (10% if you round up decimals).. so... couple that with the screen and CPU upgrades on the S6? That part to me doesn't make a lot of sense. I still feel they could have sacrificed a little bit of width for a little more battery, especially since the battery is a major pain the butt to replace (the service manual shows you how but you need screwdrivers and some patience to do it).

Where-as the Galaxy Note 4 sports a beefy 3220 mAh battery, so 26% bigger than the S6's battery to power the 5.7" QHD display (9% bigger screen than S6.. so easily a better battery size to screen ratio than the S6) and an octa-core CPU(well, depending on the model of Note 4 you purchase). This smartphone makes a lot more sense to me on the longevity side.

Of course? Everyone has different opinions and if they are cool with power banks or power battery cases for their phones. So that's a factor to consider too.

[update 1]

Apparently the Galaxy S6 Active edition will sport a 3500 mAh battery.. if that's true? That's amazing.

Hey there, but i did say the note 4 battery was of larger capacity which would make the statement mean the S6 and S6 Edge would have a smaller battery. They decided to make it that thin so that you wouldnt be bothered by the materials its using mostly glass which also helps to compete with Apples premium construction, and im not refering to BendGate. The Exynos 7420 is 30% more eco-efficient than the Exynos 5433 in the Note 4, and thats a 20nm. The Snap 805 and 801 are 28nm which would result in about 40% less battery life than the Exynos 7420. That would explain the difference and why the S5 by having a x2 lower screen res alongside its thickness, but then again the S5 seems to have a really poor battery life indeed when looked at inernal manufacturing. If the S6 "Active" is going to have a 3500Mah battery than it would have to be over 35% thicker and heavier, but thats what you want for a rugged phone and then again that seems to be just way too much battery for a phone like that yet, altough i would see a 4000Mah in a Note 5 that is tough. Thanks for sharing the news as well.

VerticalDiscussions what processor do you have on your Note 4?

Snapdragon 805, and like most people comment "Its not an hoven, altough it can get hot in some intense games, but not over 35-36Cº and its pretty battery friendly. Nevertheless like i said before over the Exynos (Has a more power draining 4G Modem and +4 Cores) makes it drain as much as the SD 805 no matter the lithography 20nm vs 28nm is like comparing a Jeep to an Suv .

You shouldn't shop based of battery capacity, core count, and frequency right now. Snapdragon 810 is fairly unknown in terms of performance and efficiency. We don't know how well big.LITTLE will work with common apps and new apps. If Samsung decreased the battery capacity in the s6, then that definitely means that their exynos chip is fairly efficient because in designing a phone, they will always have a battery life target; it's not a after thought.

However, if you want a phone that is guaranteed to perform with whatever app and game you throw at it, get an iPhone. They crush every phone in single threaded performance and have roughly the same multithreaded performance as those with twice its cores. The one thing that might hold you back from enjoying your phone to its true potential is its relatively small ram at 1gb. On my 5s, back when I was on ios7 and jail broken with a app called remove recents installed, it would show the apps that were actually running in the background and remove the recent apps that weren't. I would regularly have around 10 apps open in the background. However, with ios8, that app isn't compatible so I have no way of knowing, but it should be fairly similar on the 5s, maybe a couple apps less on the 6.

I would agree if you mentioned the Apple A8X which is by far the most powerful cpu they have available thanks to who everyone know's who. And that is for a tablet unfortunately. As for the Iphone, i would just wait until "BendGate" is fixed, in the 6S hopefully. The price and exterior matters a lot in my opinion.

Lol, dude... bendgate? Really? There was what? 10 people who actually filed complaints? They were probably dumb enough to stick it in their back tight jean pockets and sat on it. It takes a MINIMUM of 70 pounds of force to bend an iPhone 6... the same amount of pressure to bend an HTC One M8... so... why isn't there an HTC One M8 bendgate? Maybe people who own that phone aren't dumb enough to squash their phones? ;)

Besides, there's been user-made fixes to bendgate for a while. :P
