Better GPU for next 4years

What do you think is the better GPU that can be still good for the next 4years?

GTX 960 why?

R9 280X why?

Im living in the Philippines so the temperature may affect.

Out of all of those the 280x since its still got more VRAM then the 960 and has more performance the both the 960 and the R9 280

Just get the Gigabyte Windforce 280(x)(or go for the 285, which I would choose in your situation). More future proof than the 960 and the windforce cooler is enough for the ambient temperature where you are.

None, both 280x and 280 is already 3 years old, i guess it will last for another 2-3 years at best.  Try to buy R9-290/GTX780.

960 is just pathetic.

The R9 280X is the fastest of the three listed, and so I assume the one with the longest legs.

 

No one should even be talking about an R9 295X2 in a thread where we don't even know the OP's monitor resolution.

indeed what's your resolution?  i think ( assume) you are gaming on a 1080P monitor?. 

a R9 280x is the best of the three. But 4 years is a long time.. I don't know if you can save some more money?  if that's a option i would buy a 970 or a 290/ 290x .

You could also buy a used card that is better than either one of those. But, hands down to the 280x from the one you just listed

wait a little while and see what the r9 380x has to offer. as it should be a r9 290x rebrand. you'd be getting a much faster card for similar money.
