After being on Linux Mint for a while now, I want to make it my main OS, but there are two things that just don't work in linux. Curse Voice and Smite. I have both of them "working" in a windows emulator, i say working because in the emulator i can't get my headset and mic to work, and i don't know how to get the virtual machine to recognize and utalize my GPU. so, how do i get the Virtual Machine, mint host-windows 8.1 guest, to recognize my speakers and mic, and how do i get Virtual machine to utalize my GPU.
THanks

I can help with programming and hardware.

Guest Additions will install the driver for the virtual GPU and automatically set the resolution to 1920x1080. In the menu bar, select devices, and insert Guest Additions. Now navigate to the virtual DVD drive in the VM, right click, Open a Terminal here, and try the following command "sudo bash <installer>" replacing <installer> with the installer script. There are several of them in there, try each one.
